I'm a dedicated practitioner of Myofascial Release and Structural Integration, committed to helping my clients achieve optimal wellness and conscious living. My mission is to provide exceptional service in manual and/or massage therapies, collaborating with clients to achieve optimal function and ease in the body.

I offer therapeutic massage and am capable of a broad range of techniques. Whether you want a stress-relieving and soothing restorative treatment,  a targeted therapeutic massage, or rehabilitative post-injury massage, I set the standard in quality and will do my best to further your recovery. I specialize in working with head/neck issues, TMJD, chronic pain patterns, including hip and rotator cuff issues.

My areas of interest and specialties are the fascial body that entwines through our own bodies, like a web, including our soft and connective tissues. These tissues surround and support muscles throughout the body. Myofascial release is a manual therapy technique used to relieve pain by easing tension and tightness in the myofascial tissues.  By applying deep, gentle and sustained pressure to the fascial body, we workin collaboration to eliminate pain and restore motion. Myofascial release is of great benefit when dealing with chronic injuries or patterns of discomfort. We'll work to increase somatic awareness and create opportunities to let go of habitual postural patterns.  In other words, can we get you out of pain, can we help you move better in relation to gravity, and can you have a more refined and greater sense of self in your mind/body connection?

Structural Integration is a wholistic approach to somatic education involving manual therapy, that explores the possibility of change in how you use and experience your body. Through education, awareness, and therapeutic touch, you can release painful, stressful patterns of tension. Effortful habits are replaced with feelings of comfort, ease of movement and posture, and a sense of whole-body coherence. This is similar in feel to myofascial pain release, however there is an outline and goals and and a progression of the series of sessions. I have more on this on another page.

“The idea in structural integration is to use connective tissue manipulation (myofascial work) and movement reeducation to lengthen the body and reorganize it around its vertical axis”
